Surge is an introverted dragon who prefers to remain to himself. He was born blind, a trait that, rather than being a handicap, significantly improved his awareness of energy in all its forms, especially electrical power. He is often found soaring beyond the clouds during lightning storms, seeking solitude where he cannot be disturbed.
While largely solitary, he maintains select company, including members of the Strike Class such as Havoc, Shard, Cloak, Abyss, and Skia. Despite their contrasting personalities, he sees Skia the most and enjoys hearing about her daring stunts and challenges.
Ability: Surge possesses an excellent sense of electricity and energy. He is constantly generating a subtle electrical energy from his wings to perceive the environment around him. This unique ability allows him to sense the energy and movement of creatures and objects above, below, and behind him, making it nearly impossible to sneak up on him. This acute spatial and energy awareness fully compensates for his lack of sight.
In combat or self-defense, Surge can manipulate the energy within other creatures to temporarily stop their movements, with the duration of the effect depending on the creature's size.
